Rudy’s Kids Foundation and Smith’s Food are teaming up with Salt Lake Education Foundation to open a food pantry at Northwest Middle School.

Approximately 86% of the student body are living below the poverty line (including 30 homeless students). Roughly 1,300 to 1,500 students and their families live with food insecurities. The pantry will be stocked with life-sustaining proteins, fresh produce, dairy, meat and snacks.
