Rudy’s Kids Foundation and Smith’s Food are teaming up with Salt Lake Education Foundation to open a food pantry at Northwest Middle School. Approximately 86% of the student body are living below the poverty line (including 30 homeless students).

From this basketball team to dozens of other groups, Rudy’s Kids helps children see their own potential. It has also helped us fulfill our mission of providing equitable access for our most vulnerable youth to experiences that inspire hope, dreams, and success.
Our son JP has been fighting cancer on and off since 2012. We first met Rudy in 2014 when JP, who was five years old at the time, played in a scrimmage with the Utah Jazz. Rudy lifted him up for a slam dunk and sealed their friendship.
